A Night With The Bubble Lady

Olivia and I went to the San Ramon Community Center last night for story time with "The Bubble Lady". Story time is sponsored every other Thursday by the IronHorse Mothers Club of which Kim is a member of. Olivia got ready in her PJs after bath time, packed up her teddy bear back pack and off we went. We got there early to get a good seat up front so we could see all the bubble fun. What a treat. Olivia loved hearing the stories and seeing all the fun bubbles the "Bubble Lady" made. She had a whole bag of tricks. See some of the pictures below.

7 lbs 10 oz. of Miracle Baby

So officially Gracie is 3 days old now (adjusted for her original due date of 6/17). We had a visit today from the in home nurse and Gracie is doing well. She is 7 lbs 10 oz., 20 7/8 inches. She is on the charts for 3 day old babies in the 50th percentile for weight and 90th percentiles for length and head circumference. All in all she is doing well. Below are some pics of Gracie and Kim from today. Yesterday Kim broke out the play dough and Olivia made an ice cream cone with a cherry on top. Sophia broke into the dress up trunk and found the magic princess hat. What a cute pie.

Pictures from the week blog

Sophia jumped in the tub with Kim with all her clothes on. Then Olivia jumped in and Kim's relaxing bath turned into a circus. Lets just say Phia likes the bathtub
Beautiful Girls...What else can I say
Yes, Olivia is now a "fashionista"! Olvia is now picking out all her outfits. Here she is modeling her lady bug socks, princess PJs, sunglasses and diaper for Gracie and Sophia
Gracie is now doing tummy time and yes of course, daddy has to document it with pictures. Hi Gracie!
Kim and Olivia went to an art festival and Oliva got her face painted

Showtime!

Today was the day. After months of Monday morning dance classes, pulling on the tights, the body suit, the tap shoes, the ballet shoes, the tutu, it all came down to today. Tiffany's Dance Studio's Summer Concert at the Shrine Event Center in Livermore, CA. Boy did we get a treat.

Kim and Olivia left with Gracie for the event center while Greg and Sophia picked up Nanny. Kim dropped Olivia off backstage with the class and met the rest of us up front. We had no idea what to expect. Well, check out what we got. The video on Princess TV is the Derbie Duckie Jamboree as performed by the Twinkle Babies of Tiffany's Dance Studio. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Also, check out the show program, a ticket to the event and the ribbon Olivia received for being a performer in the show. I hate to say it but Kim and I did not have a dry eye by the end of the 2 minute number. Parenthood, go figure!

Gracie Gets her Shots, All Get Cool Gifts

Gracie went to the Dr. yesterday to get her first set of shots. All went well and she is now 6 lbs. 12 ozs. Today she is 2 months old, seven days before her original due date of June 17th. Gracie is now doing "tummy time" to get stronger. She has pretty good control of her head now, but the "tummy time" helps with her spinal development and the muscles in her back and neck. We got some awesome gifts from Jenny and Don for Gracie, Olivia and Sophia. Gracie got a Kaloo-bear which is a very cuddly bear for her to hold. Olivia and Sophia got matching princess PJs. They look so cute in them. See the pictures below of all the cool stuff. Thanks Jen and Don!
Sophia is very into brushing her teeth now. It takes an army to pull her away from the sink.
Kim found a very cool thing on the internet to help Gracie keep her binki in at night when she needs it. Check out the picture below. Its called a "Wubbanub". It sits on her chest and keeps the binki in for her. Gracie is our first "binki" baby so this is all new to us.

Nanny Comes Home, Duckie Dancing and the "Bing Bang" Chair

Nanny came back from vacation and the girls got to see her today. Phia jumped out of my arms to her and I could not get her back. It was so cute. Nanny told us Sophia hugged her all day long. We started the day at Olivia's dance class. They had dress rehearsal for the recital next Sunday. Check out the pictures in the duckie costume. Sophia even had fun out on the dance floor before class started. On the way to Nanny's after class Olivia was taking calls from her agent regarding some Broadway shows she is up for =). Gracie had a quiet day at home since this was the first day in a week and a half that the girls were at Nanny's.
I am sitting here posting this blog and Olivia is telling Judy to watch out for the "bing bang" chair in her room. LOL! That would be the bean bag chair that Olivia was just sitting in watching a video in the guest room. Too funny. That is as funny as the "tea-bone" tablets that Phia takes for her teeth. Read "teething tablets". They help Sophia with the molars that are coming in. Judy is flying home tomorrow morning and I have to say we are all sad. The girls are really going to miss her. She has been a fun playmate for them.

Kisses Anyone?

Phia is now officially giving out kisses. Well, to anyone but mom-mom. Judes can't seem to get on the list. Mommy, Daddy, Olivia, even Ramesses is getting kisses on demand. Oh well, maybe before she leaves on Tuesday she will get one.
Olivia and Judy have been doing some more crafts. You can see some below. Olivia was teaching Sophia some gymnastics and that turned into some craziness this morning. We gave Gracie a bath today and I took some pictures in her new outfit. Very cute. Gracie is spending more time during the day awake and it seems she is very aware of her surroundings.
Sophia has found a new fondness for her toothbrush and seems to want to brush her teeth for hours on end. Tonight we had a serious melt down when after 15 minutes and a whole tube of tooth paste daddy shut off the water and had to remove Phia from the sink. Anyway, a few other fun pictures from the weekend for ya. Happy Birthday Dad! Looking good for 68!

6 lbs 4 oz & 25 lbs 8 oz.

It was weigh in day for Gracie and Sophia at the doctors. We had a 15 month check up for Sophia and Gracie came along for the ride. The nurses started by weighing both of them. What a difference. Sophia is 25 lbs 8 oz, and Gracie weighed in at 6 lbs 4 oz. Gracie is still gaining about an ounce a day and getting more hair. The doctor called her a "toe head" cause she is getting more blonde hair. Its funny cause she looks just like Olivia but has blonde hair like Sophia. Sophia came in at 90th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. What a change from "miss petite" Olivia, who continues to come in at the 40 percentile for both for her age. It will be interesting to see how Gracie continues to grow. Not much to share today, but I wanted to let you know the news on Gracie's weight. I am sure the weekend fun we have planned will be cause to post some fun pictures. Talk to you soon!

New Pool Fun

Out with the old pool and in with the new. The girls got a new pool so they can have fun in the sun. Kim pulled the kangaroo slide so they could slide into the water. Sophia took to it right away and seems to slide down with no fear. She gets really excited to be in the pool and likes to make herself fall down in the water. Olivia like to run around and tell everyone about her pool. Check out the video of Sophia sliding into the water. This was later in the day after they were out of their swim suits, but of course had to get one more slide in the pool in.

Gracie had a follow up with the eye doctors to make sure everything is developing OK and that the oxygen she was on in the first few days did not harm her eyes. Things looked good so far. She will have a re-check in two weeks. Gracie seems to be staying awake a bit more during the day. Yesterday she was up for a few hours and entertained Judy and Kim for a while.

Speaking of eyes; guess who owns those baby blues below. =)
