Ballet Practice or Boxing Practice

No, no, Olivia is not in boxing class. Today was the first day of her new ballet class. All went well, after a half hour of coaxing that is. We got there and Mrs. Tamara was so happy to see Olivia. The class learned some new tap and ballet moves while Sophia and Gracie watch Olivia intently.. The class was coming to an end so I went out to the car with Sophia to cool it down, when oooops, Olivia took a spill. The fall resulted in a bloody fat lip. I ran in and took her out to the car, but wouldn't you know, Olivia fought through the pain and the tears and wanted to go back in. Of course she could not miss getting sparkles from Mrs. Tamara. All the moms were impressed that she was back on her feet and finishing the class. Maybe we should sign her up for boxing after all!

The Princesses' First Concert

Tonight we went to Central Park in San Ramon for a concert in the park. It was a Beach Boys tribute band (Grandpop would have loved it!). The weather was nice, a little windy, but a not too cold. Mark, Lisa, Colin and Kaitlyn went with us to hear some tunes and have some fun. Olivia had a ball dancin with daddy. Gracie enjoyed being out in the cool air and seemed to like the activity. Sophia had fun eating peanut butter sandwiches and climbing on daddy. We stopped for ice cream on the way home to top off a nice evening. The girls should all sleep well tonight, um and mommy and daddy too.

Fun Blog

Olivia has been spending a considerable amount of time in her new chair
Notice whats behind the chair. Wonder what could be plugged in there? The chair perhaps???
"Yes Mommy, this IS the new style!"
"Olivia told me so."
"Mommy, can you tell those hooligans to be quiet!!".
"Oooow Phia, come get some of my new ka-ra-te moves".
"Ahhhhhhhh, Phia, I'm gonna hurl..." "Meeee tooooooo".

A New Generation of Spaghetti Benders

Since things have calmed down a bit the past few weeks we have had time to make Sunday's "Pasta Night". With the tomato and spaghetti choice from the Masciantonio side, the meatball recipe coming from the Lippo side and Greg's grandmom-like cooking technique a fun Sunday night tradition is being born. The girls both had 2 helpings of pasta and mommy and daddy had pasta and plenty of meatballs. Greg snuck out during nap time to Andronico's to get some beef, pork, veal and Italian bread for the meatballs. Man they were good. Sophia did her usual "stuff all the pasta you can get in a handful" act till her face looked like she "bobbed" for meatballs in the pot of gravy. Olivia managed to get spaghetti everywhere including in her diaper. Hope you enjoy the pictures and we hope to have you over for pasta night some time in the near future. Next year around this time perhaps??? Could be...

Princess Play Day

Yesterday we had some friends and their kids over for a play day (and into the night). Jen, Dave and Emma and Michael, Kim and Camille came around 4 for a late afternoon pool party that got a little crazy. Things were some what calm around the pool until Sophia tried her crazy antics on the pool slide and came up from one of her dives with a bloody nose. You would think that would have slowed her down, but you would be wrong. She did a bee line for the slide again bloody face and all. After the pool lost its novelty we moved onto the Elmo sprinkler which turned out not to be as exciting as the girls thought it would be. After dinner the girls got in the cars for some race around the yard action. Finally they all calmed down until we mentioned bath time. Then it just got really crazy. See the pictures below.

Cuttin' Some Rug

I took this video of the girls dancing to rock n roll Elmo about a month ago but forgot to get it up here for you to see. It seems funny to think in a few years that Olivia could be a prima ballerina and Sophia, well who knows! Enjoy, its making my flight back to CA very entertaining.

Where in the world is the blogger?

OK so its been a few weeks and no new blogs with princesses dancin, posing, laughing, etc. Its not that they having been doing any of that, its just the daddy has been busy! The GPs where here and that girls had fun. Then daddy had to go back east for work. So now I am on a plane to Nebraska and wanted to let you know new daily blogs are coming. We have so many pictures from the last two weeks and Gracie is changing every day. Stay tuned, more fun coming. With dance class starting in a few weeks, Sophia gabbing like crazy and Gracie smiling for the camera, there will be something fun to see everyday.
